I. Quality Management and Environment
With the motto of “Always brings Mekong River’s flavor globally”, commitments on the assurance of product quality to keep the natural flavor of Tra fish and on the environmental protection for water resource, IDI is ceaselessly making progress in renewing the quality management system and food safety in response to the international standards such as ISO 9001:2000, BRC (2005), IFS (Version 4), HACCP, ISO 14001:2004, and scrupulously complying with regulations of the Vietnamese Law and of the imported countries.
IDI is always exerting its efforts to achieve its strategic goals so as to become the largest and the most prestigious exporter of Vietnam in the sector of processing and exporting Tra and Basa fish.
II. Information on the innovation activities:
Since the early days of establishment, all the three factories are well-equipped with modern and hi-tech facilities, mainly imported from the US, Japan, and Europe.
IDI Corporation has a large contingent of young, dynamic, creative and enthusiastic quality control staff who are mostly trained from universities and colleges specialized in seafood. Most of them acquire deep knowledge of GMP and SSOP regulations. Moreover, IDI in partnership with organizations like VASEP, NAQUAFIVED holds training courses to improve the profession and ability of control on product quality for their staff. Detergents made by the European manufacturers are also used to keep the factory always clean and not infected with bacteria. Laboratories with the ability to test micro-organism for every the material lot which will be put into production.
Presently, IDI is launching training program for workers on the regulations of GMP, SSOP in order to develop their awareness on the importance of food safety and hygiene.
